At the end of this module, students will be able to:
Understand the Spiritual Basis of a Culture of Encounter.
Understand the spiritual basis of the catholic social teaching principle of Solidarity.
Be familiar with the basic structure and content of the compendium of the social doctrine of the Church.
Imagine ways to live the Culture of Encounter in a global context.
Have an introductory knowledge of the work of the Caritas Confederation generally, and that of Development & Peace – Caritas Canada specifically.
